"Just upgraded from Hitachi Plasma 720p 42 in.. after I first got the Hitachi I failed to assume an image may ever recover. Was within the marketplace for an upgrade and spent each day staring at all the 50"+ LED TVs. Where the TV is ready within the store makes all the distinction within the image quality and that they have the mode set to brightest, sharpest, etc..., that you'd not have in your home. Spent the evening researching LED TV technology and came to the conclusion that all of them are similar within the similar worth vary. Toshiba had the deal for two try of 3D glasses and BD 3D player with purchase of TV that knocked out the Sony and also the Samsung i used to be considering. 3D glases are specific for every model can|and can} run you concerning $150 and 3D BD will run you concerning $250...so that was a $550 saving right there.Hook up was a chunk of cake to Sat box and then watched PBS Evening news. If the program isn't in HD, the the massive} image makes the video TOO big and somewhat blurry, thus you have got to scale the image back (easy to try and do with button management on the remote). Started up a recorded HD movie on my DVR, Star Trek 1st Contact...and wow, the detail, colours the black level were wonderful and pretty much as good as any of the Sony and samsung similar TVs I saw within the show space. The Toshiba was a replacement model and relegated to the show space wall with concerning thirty different TVs and failed to show also. I will currently tell you that it's nice.Do not expect nice sound from any LED TV since the speakers got to be little. however the sound is adequate for watching news and traditional shows, however somewhat tinny. most likely will modify with the menu equalizer, however its a do not look after traditional TV viewing. place in USB follow footage and it recognized it immediately and detached to look at photos...fantastic resoultion and photo copy with 8Mp camera...and fast."
