Excellent TV at a good price, July 18, 2010
By William R. Drake (Nevada City, CA USA)
"After attempting 2 alternative flat screen TVs and learning totally different models in showrooms and on the the online, my wife and that i gave this model a attempt. My wife is terribly sensitive to the intensity of an LCD TV image and one issue she likes regarding this TV is that's has nice changes for distinction, brightness, etc. especially, the "Cinema" setting tones the brightness down and provides smart image clarity. she will conjointly choose an image size or formatting that produces videos, widescreen or full screen DVDs, etc., all look smart. Furthermore, there's no noticeable blurring. Overall the standard of the image is great, and it absolutely was value paying slightly additional for the 1080p. Even TV programs not broadcast in high-def look nice. additionally, in contrast to alternative TVs, the speakers give sound of sufficient volume and glorious quality. I conjointly like that it's many inputs (including three HDMI, one part, and a couple of composite inputs). Its ability to interface with SD cards and computers is additionally neat. And, in my restricted expertise, Panasonic has glorious client service, with personnel who, in general, are additional knowledgeable than most I actually have talked with at Samsung with reference to that company's merchandise. My solely grievance is that the sole audio output on this TV is digital/optical (for new "home entertainment" systems), which, apparently, is that the direction newer LCD TVs this size and up are going. typically need|i would like} to use headphones after I am taking part in one thing to that my wife doesn't want to pay attention. so as to try and do this I connect my Blu-Ray/VHS/or satellite box output to the input of slightly two watt amplifier I actually have and run the headphones off of that, using the amplifier's volume management, with the TV volume on "mute". i'd like for this TV to own a 1/8" audio output. In spite of that, in my opinion it's value five stars."
