"First, I currently own and love this TV. Second there are a handful of things to bear in mind of, particularly if you've got never had an HD TV before. If your input is coming back from a cable box (learned this the laborious way), take care your box is about to send the proper variety of signal for the TV. If, for instance, your box is about for 480i output, you may not get the HD. this can be terribly easy to correct, and if you are doing not knowledge, your cable company will walk you thru it with an easy decision. Also, do not forget to program the remote for that cable box to match your TV whereas you've them on the phone.There is solely a "OPTICAL DIGITAL AUDIO" output on the rear. this can be not the quality speaker association most people keep in mind or are used to.
