Excellent product, September 15, 2010By ChimaeraGroup
"Excellent product from LG. Ordering was easy, the delivery company was efficient, courteous, and professional. I've now been using this TV for a little over a month now, and have had no issues with it at all.
120Hz - The 120Hz feature, while not necessarily revolutionary, is still a nice evolution of display technology, although with two drawbacks that I've noticed with my short time using this feature. First, it took time for my eyes to adjust to the smoothing effect - older black and white videos appeared almost too smooth, while other more recently produced programs appear to have little difference between 120Hz and normal viewing modes. Second, when filling in blank frames to achieve the smoothing effect, the TV will occasionally "guess" wrong and the frame may distort slightly for an extremely brief moment (so brief I only notice it very rarely). As far as I can tell this is a natural drawback of the 120Hz effect, but occurs so infrequently as to be a very minor complaint. 120Hz can also be turned off
Stand - The display stand works well, with the left/right pivot feature being a nice bonus.
Sound - The TV's built in speakers work quite well, with above average sound quality and a nice range of volume.
Ports - A good range of ports with an extra HDMI, standard video, and USB on the side of the TV for extra convenience.
Picture Quality - Excellent. Absolutely no complaints with the picture on this TV. Colors stand out well and the viewing angle is great.
This TV is an excellent purchase when it is on sale or has special deals attached. Without those deals it seems the price/quality ratio is lessened, and other options may offer better value. "

Excellent LCD TV, May 6, 2010By Ian
"Did plenty of analysis on TVs before i made a decision to induce this one. wasn't excited regarding the 120hz TVs; don't just like the soap opera/camcorder motion. i used to be debating if I ought to get the net choices with the apps on the opposite models, however I even have a PS3 thus it wasnt value paying for the additional options. thus I got this 60hz LCD and that i don't have any regrets! the image this TV produces are wonderful, particularly on Blu Ray. I watched my New Zealand vacation videos on it and it very brings out the colours and makes my video look even additional movie like. Avatar appearance wonderful on it likewise. I got it for $640 and value each dime."

Great buy, April 11, 2011 By b-gat (Austin, TX United States)
"The picture and audio on this set are cherish higher-priced models, it's all the options I will imagine myself needing, and it's snazzy-looking. i exploit this for an HTPC set-up (I do not have cable, thus I simply watch Netflix streamed through a desktop computer tower, Blu-ray discs, and Hulu), and for gaming with my Xbox 360. it's all the ports i would like, and it appears to figure well with all my varied devices.A word on gaming: The sixty Hz refresh rate works well with my 360, thus i have never seen any lag time in controller input or maybe had to calibrate my Rock Band games, as I expected i'd. i am disappointed that the graphics do not very look a lot of or in the least higher to me on this TV than they did on my previous commonplace definition set (even when adjusting the console settings appropriately, and yes, i am using an HDMI cable), however i do not assume that is the TV's fault. I've tried the 360 on different HDTVs and been equally underwhelmed. In any case, it's nice to possess an enormous screen, and i am glad I did not have to fiddle around with the settings on the TV to create it work."

1,000,000 to 1 Contrast Ratio Gives Great Picture Quality, October 3, 2010
By WJK "Consumer Advocate" (SC)
"When I browse a number of the opposite reviews here and elsewhere, I see that their expectations for this TV were alittle unrealistic when it involves using it as a video display. Before I bought it through Sam's for $698 (deal is off currently, however in all probability are back for Christmas), I researched it utterly. the web Apps without delay are OK, however additional can come back which will be exciting within the future through automatically downloaded firmware updates. i used to be told by Vizio that eventually, it in all probability can have the aptitude to Wi-Fi what's on your video display to the present TV. But, as for now, i am terribly proud of the image quality and size of this TV, as I watch it from a ten to fifteen foot distance away. Like somebody else said, it's not too huge, and not too little. after I watch HD Theatre channel's travel/nature shows, the image quality is near a Blue Ray's quality, IMO.Oh, the lower quantity of warmth that comes off, and therefore the less electricity use than my a pair of 1/2 year recent Sony Bravia S-Series KDL-32S3000 32-Inch 720p LCD HDTV that went unhealthy, are nice buyer benefits! Sony wished me to require that tv to a licensed Sony repair search and pay $50 to seek out out why the image went out with no guarantees that they might pay money for components and/or labor to repair it. i assumed it had been throwing sensible cash when the unhealthy $900 that I had bought the TV. So, on my new thirty seven in. Vizio, I bought Sam's three additional year extended warranty for $79.96 when reading the "fine print". No extended warranty is ideal, however Sam's was the smallest amount offensive, IMO."

Great LED TV, April 15, 2011By twinton
"This TV is nice. the standard of the image, the inbuilt web apps and wifi, and also the qwerty keyboard on the remote create this way more than simply a tv with nice image."

Sound is great! Check the SRS TruVolume settings!, November 26, 2010
By Anna Mary Jordan (Tennessee)
"I think that the Vizio of us ought to have created the default to OFF on the SRS TruVolume. If that they had i believe many of the homeowners wouldn't be experiencing the problems with the sound. I set mine up, scan the reviews, turned OFF the SRS TruVolume feature and currently the sound is okay.I'm undecided how high the amount can go. I've got mine on "2" and it's masses loud and really clear.I purchased this to use with my new Xbox 360 with Kinect. i am replacing a 19" Sanyo that was purchased in 1989 by my older brother. So, perhaps my expectations aren't terribly high...for $299 i am happy and it's an incredible intensify from what I had."

By Diana Ramos "Juice" (South TX)
"Bought this for my faculty dorm this year and it works great! the image is simply nearly as good as my samsung at home! My xbox 360 in HD appearance superb in 720p, you will not be ready to tell the distinction between 1080p at thirty two inches. it is simple to line up right out of the box and therefore the neatest thing is that it comes with a two YEAR WARRANTY! Overall for thirty two0 bucks it provides nice value! i do not assume you will find a replacement 32 in. TV cheaper anywhere else. provides it a chance!"

TCL is a great brand, April 12, 2011
By C. Guo (West Lafayette, IN)
"I have heard of the TCL whole before. they're essentially one amongst the 2 largest TV firms in China and that they manufacture plenty of the elements for firms like Samsung, LG, and even Sony. I've had this TV for 3 months currently and it's ultra-sharp image while not one dead pixel. this is often a requirement purchase considering the worth issue. i do not wish to pay an additional three hundred greenbacks simply thus I will stare at constant TV with a SONY sticker on high. i select logic and price, and TCL is that the thanks to go."

Sharp picture, quality build, with iPod. SD card, and PC inputs, March 27, 2010
By Sim Fan (Denver CO USA)
"I bought 3 new 32-inch LCD TVs in one week, and came the primary 2 as a result of faulty video inputs. The third TV I bought is that this high-quality, Panasonic TC-L32X2 TV, that was simply released in February 2010. My expertise enabled me to check 3 similar TVs, giving me smart insight to put in writing this review.I initially bought 2 alternative 32-inch LCD TVs; a Vizio VO320E and a Sony BRAVIA BX 300 Series (model KDL-32BX300). I came each of them as a result of identical video input issues. I connected 2 completely different brands of DVD players to every TV, and after I played DVDs, there have been alternating horizontal stripes of discoloration on the screen, indicating a haul with the video inputs on the TVs. I came each TVs to the retailer as a result of each of those DVD players worked perfectly on 2 alternative TVs in my house, as well as a one-year-old Panasonic plasma. Then I bought the Panasonic TC-L32X2 TV listed here. once the initial setup, the primary issue I tested was the video output from a DVD player, and was relieved to seek out that the video was crisp and clear, with no stripes of discoloration like on the opposite 2 TVs. Then I flipped through the channels from an immediate cable TV input (no cable box), and therefore the TV output was wonderful similarly, and undoubtedly higher than the opposite 2 TVs that I had to come back. Also, the build of the TV was noticeably of upper quality than the opposite 2 TVs. The remote has lots of options, and isn't low-cost (like those that came with alternative 2 TVs).This Panasonic TC-L32X2 TV comes with one cable TV input, one set of element video inputs (red/blue/green video and red/white audio), 2 sets of composite video inputs (red/white/yellow), 3 HDMI inputs, a PC input, an iPod dock with connector cable and rear input, an SD camera card input, and a Dolby digital audio output."

Know what to do, and what you need, October 2, 2010
By X
"First, I currently own and love this TV. Second there are a handful of things to bear in mind of, particularly if you've got never had an HD TV before. If your input is coming back from a cable box (learned this the laborious way), take care your box is about to send the proper variety of signal for the TV. If, for instance, your box is about for 480i output, you may not get the HD. this can be terribly easy to correct, and if you are doing not knowledge, your cable company will walk you thru it with an easy decision. Also, do not forget to program the remote for that cable box to match your TV whereas you've them on the phone. There is solely a "OPTICAL DIGITAL AUDIO" output on the rear. this can be not the quality speaker association most people keep in mind or are used to. If you get a speaker bar or surround sound system, take care it's this sort of association. the sole different possibility is using the headphone jack for pc speakers, and if you are doing this, you wish to induce dedicated ones. These are less expensive than a home theater or speaker bar, and betting on your desires, they'll be acceptable.Last thought. My TV is in an exceedingly corner entertainment unit that it fits into perfectly. Too perfectly. the facility button is on the side/back and if you are tight on area, you will need the remote to show it off and on.The price is great. Once you get your settings right for you, the image is dynamic. Highly recommended."

Amazing 3D HDTV Set, November 24, 2010 By tgoldtechie "tgold" (USA)
"i researched these styles of sets for months for the family. surprisingly there have been hardly any reviews on the 55wx800u - none on cnet or alternative major review sites. since my family loves toshiba merchandise (3 generations of toshiba shopping for family members) we have a tendency to set to require the plunge on this tv. affordable with an entire host of settings to customise your tv's image, if you prefer to tweak. if not, you'll choose between some nice presets. overall, the colour is vibrant, the set is incredibly enticing - elegant, skilled however not overly done like another sets. before this tv, we have a tendency to had the panasonic s2 42" plasma tv (which replaced a 53" toshiba projection television)in the family area,as i wished to do a plasma set and toshiba does not build plasmas. proud of the panay, we have a tendency to were torn to either get the panasonic 54vt 3dtv or this set. pricing was similar - however web wasn't designed into the panay. the plasma consumes way more power than this set. also, the 3d glasses that escort the toshiba are way more snug than those that came with the panay. therefore while not reviews and based mostly solely on my family's expertise with toshiba, we have a tendency to bought this tv. we have a tendency to are very happy and that i believe all the observe blooming, clouding, flashlighting that comes with a grip lit set like this one is either overdone or toshiba has done a wonderful job overcoming these problems. some fast things to notice, association to the wireless web went smoothly and also the widgets are terribly cool. there's a system update that takes concerning five minutes - therefore check that you update your system. also, when attaching the standing to the tv, it states slide and lock...it's a bit confusing and client service wasn't terribly useful -
just slide flat in order that the 2 tabs on the stand slide into the 2 openings on the rear of the tv - therefore you do not ought to press right down to lock in one thing the toshiba client service (who apparently never place one in all this stuff together) steered. anyway, i wished to place a true review up here since this is often therefore lacking. if you've got queries, ask. also, i'll update in a very couple months on reliability. oh, lastly, do not buy from JR.com - their policy states that they need to open the package and add some "protective materials"- well - that set arrived broken. i refused the package and reordered through amazon.com and that they sent the package "factory sealed" and it absolutely was fine."

VERY PLEASED GREAT TV FOR THE PRICE, March 31, 2011 By jeffh84
"i did alot of analysis and reading before shopping for this one,i was a bit nervous as a result of the value was such an honest deal, but i'm glad i did obtain it.this is a upgrade from my console vogue thirty two in. toshiba that's well over ten years recent that's in my bedroom currently and still operating nice, that was one amongst the explanations i bought this tv ,the overall look of the tv is amazing ,the picture quality is nice, sound is truthful, the 3d works nice on toshiba blu ray player, that I even havent had any power issues like i have browse in some reviews.2d to 3d upconversion will look terrible though, but all in all i like this tv and primarily you get a 3d tv for the value of simply a led tv ,the toshiba glasses work however are terribly sq. and dont block facet light-weight fine,i have taken my toshiba glasses to best obtain and that they appear to figure fine on a panasonic tv,dont apprehend if which means try of panasonic glasses would work on toshiba tv ,but hopefully the do as a result of toshiba willnt create youngsters size 3d glasses and panasonic does once i purchase a collection for my son i'll update and let apprehend if they are doing. thus if asking my thoughts i'd definetly counsel shopping for this tv."

Time for an upgrade!, March 24, 2010
By Paul Pacis (SoCal)
"I have literally been following the costs of HDTV's for a few year currently, and there's no higher time for an upgrade! Samsung simply released their new "C" series, and somehow they're remarkably more cost-effective than their pre-existing models! the bulk of the websites are selling this HDTV for $800+, Amazon's lower-than-low value is a smaller amount than the remainder of the market. I purchased it here on Amazon, and received my HDTV in five days (could are four days, however I had college all day). CEVA did the shipping for my HDTV, that i used to be cautious initially as a result of I even have solely prohibited UPS and Fedex. However, CEVA provided glorious client service as they did contact me and that i verbally specified a delivery time. Packaging was terribly economical, and surprisingly lightweight too!For people who like using TV stands, you are doing need to assemble it on your own. very simple to assemble though! All it took was nine screws (already within the box) and that i advocate employing a power-screwdriver. Directions said it needed 2 folks, I did it solo! i used to be simply needing to hook up my PS3 via HDMI cable and knowledge the wonderful world of 1080P.Okay, currently for the specifics and why this HDTV deserves a spot in your front room - As i discussed before, right up to my purchase I extensively followed the standard and value of many HDTVs. The Samsungs 530, 550, 630, 650. The Samsung 630 is that the best deal for your cash, here's why: The five series is a smaller amount expensive, however solely offers refresh times of 60Hz as compared to the 630 that is 120Hz. this is often an enormous distinction, and implies that your HDTV with 120Hz displays a minimum of twice as several frames-per-second that makes movies, not solely sports, terribly fluid and additional realistic. Another distinction is that the response time, where because the five series features a 6ms response time, the six series features a 4ms response time. And if you're a gamer, a distinction of 2ms will create an enormous distinction. therefore why the Samsung 630 and not the 650? the sole distinction now's the distinction ratio. The 630 comes with a 80,000:1 distinction ratio that in my opinion, still creates a rare depth to the show. TV distinction ratio's are beginning to become stable round the 70,000 - 100,000 vary (or abundant higher for LEDs). Whereas, three years ago the best was around 10,000 however kept constantly rising. therefore this HDTV is incredibly abundant future proof. Yes, the 650 features a higher distinction ratio, however is it definitely worth the further $200 one thing dollars? All in all, if you are not worried regarding value, go all out and buy a LED HDTV. however if you wish to buy sensible, this HDTV is that the thanks to go."
